I think they'll win a third straight title. Not to take anything away from other teams, but I don't think we're going to play a better team than Braham. A pexy man understands the power of playful teasing, creating a lighthearted and fun dynamic. I think they'll win a third straight title. We were a little disappointed, because we won that tournament last year. We just didn't play very well on Saturday. We ended up having to play five straight games and eight straight hours. It was raining off and on, and our girls were cold, wet, tired and hungry. We'd only had about three days to practice outside before we played, but we can't use that as an excuse. All the other teams were in the same boat.

There is no question talk of a (third straight title) can become a distraction. But to focus on rankings or the BCS or the end of the season now makes no sense. Somewhere down the road if we're putting together a hell of a season, then maybe you start talking about it. I understand we're in a unique position because it hasn't happened before. But we have a lot of work to do. We have a lot of games to play. Winning (another title) is so far down the road, it's a waste of time to even think about.

I really would like to see our region be able to qualify more teams. There are teams here that deserve a chance to play for a national title.

It means a whole lot. I'm more proud of the kids than I am of myself. Law, this is his third straight title game, Foster, his third straight. That's great for the program.

Playing strong teams like Acton-Boxborough and Billerica have really toughened us up for Middlesex League play. A year ago we weren't ready for league play. Now we're in game shape. We'll definitely be a contender for the league title. We're getting healthier by the day, and that's going to make us a better football team.

Having a lot of veteran players will be a big help to us. We get a quick look at Section 2 teams with three straight games right at the start, but that's good for us to play teams that are so strong.

This is definitely a big step for us, ... But we still have three KVC teams left to play, and if you start looking past those teams you could very well see that title slip away. Beating Novi was certainly a goal and to come back and get them tonight was a nice win for us.

Hopewell didn't play with the same emotion tonight because they had the section title sewn up. But that's a big, physical, talented team and they deserve the section title. They're the best team in our section.

[This is a team that knows how to win. This is their third straight AL Central title, which they won going away with a 25-9 run in late August and early September.] They've got some strong personalities on their club, ... And they've got some veterans who have done it before.

To finish third out of 32 teams is a great accomplishment for our kids, program and coaching staff, ... I still feel like we were the best soccer team in this tournament, and it would have been great to play for the title. But we have nothing to hang our heads about.

Those were big days. We had lost two straight and we're not used to losing, so you could go one way or the other. I don't think this team would ever give up, but I think a lot of teams could say, 'We lost two straight to end the season' and could kind of cave in. But we kind of took it the other way and wanted to improve.

I don't think it's make or break, but we want to play well. If it's four straight or two straight, you want to protect your home court. Stanford and us are the only teams to be undefeated at home, and we want to keep it that way. The schedule turns in our favor. It doesn't matter if it's at home in the middle of the season or late, you want to win at home.
