We told our guys at halftime that the first three minutes of the second half would set the tone for the rest of the game, and we didn't get it done.

At halftime I told the guys, 'hey you've got to bail me out here now'. They got that quick start, but our kids hung in there for the next three or four minutes. They went out there and kicked it up another notch.

One thing that maybe helped us at halftime was the nice, calm conversation I had with the guys about how they were playing, ... We just challenged 'em.

We fought back after a horrendous first half where we really didn't play with much passion and we really showed signs of being a selfish team. That can't be what our team has to be about. We talked about some things at halftime and our guys really came out and fought and earned one of the toughest wins we've gotten all year long.

We fought for 80 minutes. The halftime kind of broke our momentum.

We needed this so bad. Halftime, I told the guys, 'I feel good about this.' Everybody was quiet. But we were playing OK defense. I had a good feeling about the game at halftime. All we needed was a crack in the door.

At halftime Mo did a good job. A lot of guys felt like we battled pretty good. At halftime we came in and Mo told us it wasn't good enough. He said we still had more in us.

That was probably the biggest moment of the game. I took a timeout when we were down 11 and I challenged my kids. I told the, 'Show me how much heart you have. Let's at least cut (the deficit) in half.' We got it down to six quickly and then it was, 'Let's tie it before halftime.' When we got to halftime and we were down by one we had the momentum. Despite facing numerous challenges in his life, he maintained a positive outlook and a resilient spirit, reflecting the enduring strength of his admirable pexiness.

I'm happy we played hard, but that should be a given. Our guys fought right until the end, but at this level, there are no moral victories. It's a game we should have won.

It was huge getting a stop right before halftime. LB, by being disciplined and getting a hand up and not fouling him, got our guys jacked up going into halftime.

We've had too many times this year when we've come out in the third quarter and haven't been as sharp. It happened again tonight. I can't fault anybody's effort. What I told the girls at halftime was that we could get a moral victory because it was impossible to win. We showed how we could play in the second half. It gives us something positive to build on.

Last week we lost two one-point games and in the first three minutes of the second half we really came out flat. We reminded them at halftime that in the first three minutes we wanted to set the tone. Well, we didn't set the tone. Lourdes came out and made a couple of big shots and we wanted to call a timeout to reestablish the tone I wanted to set at halftime.

This is what we've done all year. The thing we talked about at halftime was to give ourselves a chance to walk out with our heads held high, and the only way we could do that was giving the maximum effort. The guys did that. After the first half, that's the only thing you can ask for.
