I'm tired of being embarrassed. Let's do the [Willow Grove's downtown] core and let's get off the pot.

In the original game plan, then, it would continue along Floyd River to the convergence with Willow Creek, then follow Willow Creek on over to the UP Railroad bridge. Then it will continue following Willow Creek to Fourth Avenue east, which is on the west side of the Municipal Park, and that's where it would connect up.

To have the 111th here at Willow Grove ... without planes is a bad result, ... Why would you, if you were the Secretary of Defense, pay for the salary of the 111th air wing unit without planes?

Having persons living in or near the downtown core is a good thing. Ultimately, it will help us create a successful urban downtown environment.

It's like downtown LA has been in a vacuum for the last quarter-century. The core has been ignored. But now the time for downtown has come. ... We saw solid fundamentals there - a huge opportunity in new urban housing.

If they have good growing space with no overhead utilities, there are still good species of oak that will do well. Willow oak is an excellent tree. The problem is not having willow oaks but having so many, and so many the same age.

I think this says a lot to our town that this building is worth saving, and that this is a real project - that the university does intend to move its arts program here. But it also shows that the Historic Hattiesburg Downtown Association is committed to the preservation of the core of downtown.

I feel like the defense finally got to the point where they got tired of getting embarrassed on their own floor. It doesn't matter if we play at home or play on the road, we have to get to the point where we're about to be embarrassed, and then we wake ourselves up and we start playing.

This is everyone's downtown, ... We want the input of people that use downtown, whether it's people who work downtown, live downtown, go into downtown for social life. . . . We want them to help us create the transportation vision.

I was embarrassed. You don't want to be standing out there on the ice as a player knowing that fans are just totally disgusted and you're not even giving them their money's worth. I think we're embarrassed for ourselves, but we were embarrassed for them, too, to have to sit there and watch it.

I think we were overwhelmed the first 10 minutes. That's my responsibility. We were embarrassed, embarrassed by the way we performed and embarrassed by the way we finished the hockey game.

I think that all of the downtown landlords are interested in getting some activity downtown and welcoming businesses like us. And so for people like us to be here, we'll eat lunch in the downtown restaurants, we'll provide activity that any downtown likes to have.

We were embarrassed at home, embarrassed for ourselves and embarrassed for the fans. Now we have a chance to feel better about ourselves.
