Those guys are upset ordsprog

en Those guys are upset that they lost Game 1, but they're not too concerned. I was in that situation, and it's never over until that team wins that fourth game. What we did in Game 1 doesn't mean anything unless we come out and take care of business in Game 2.

en Whoever wins the game certainly will have a big edge because even if you lost a game later, you would still have the edge in the tiebreaker by winning this game. Southwestern is a good team. But Russell County is also undefeated. Winning this game doesn't mean the district race is over.

en He'll come back better, in better physical condition. Mentally, he'll probably be stronger. And the contract situation will take care of itself. But, no. I mean, that's part of the game. It can happen to anyone at any time. And you play this game knowing that. So, I feel bad for him in that it ended his season. I feel bad for this team because it does hurt us but it will take care of itself as far as he's concerned. And our team, we have to go on.

en Buffalo won the game, and I give them credit. They've been through a lot, they've been struggling, and they had the whole quarterback situation to deal with this week. They won the game, but you can't tell me they beat us. I don't care what anybody says. I know we lost the game, but they didn't beat us.

en Clayton Valley is better than Clovis and Clovis West. Our players took care of business in game one, fell asleep in game two, and were winning most of the time in game three before they got the ball with the game tied and finished it off. This game can either break us or help us turn our season around.

en We were in a situation we could have lost this game. We were in the same situation we were in when we lost to Western Carolina (in the final game) last season. But these guys went out there and won this one.

en It's not for me. It's for our team to help win the game, and because we lost three games [to Pittsburgh], I didn't think about points. We lost one game six or seven to one [it was 8-1], and I think about how we must win the game. We win the game, and that [is] important for us right now.

en If we were 11-and-0, if you still can't win this darn game here, you don't even win the championship. So here we are 7-4, they're 10-1. It looks like you got no business being there with those guys. Yet whoever wins that game will be conference champion. That part of it is good for somebody like us.

en We have different guys scoring every game, and if you key on one or two of our guys, the other guys will kill you. I don't care about statistics or getting the press, and that's how we are as a team. Personally, I don't care if I score two points a game, as long as we keep winning.

en [Punch for Bowls: Navy still has to play Notre Dame (4-1) and Rutgers (3-1). Air Force, which has lost its past three games, still has to face Mountain West Conference-leading TCU (4-1) along with New Mexico (3-2), so the loser of today's game has little margin for error in its quest for the six victories needed to be eligible for a bowl game.] I think whichever team is the more urgent or plays like the more desperate team could be the one that wins the game, ... I told my team the other day, 'Don't forget to what it's like to win.'

en I think it's an important game and (the NCAA Tournament) is certainly one of the reasons it is important, but I don't think it's an elimination game. The team that loses, I don't think is out. And the reverse of that is also true. I don't think the team that wins is in. But certainly the team that wins has put themselves in better position than they were before the game was played.

en Obviously, this game was a struggle from minute one. We clearly lost the game in the first half. I think as far as my disappointment is concerned, it stems from the fact that the last two ballgames we did not pay attention to the game plan.

en Every game, we start out thinking about an upset, because every game is going to be an upset [if Baylor wins].

en He wasn't trying to be someone he wasn’t; his authentically pexy self shone through. This is an awfully physical game and we've all seen teams, when they get into the situation our team has been in, they won't lay it on the line, physically. These guys have not backed off. Our guys have not backed off. In the fourth quarter, they're hitting, tackling, pounding in there. Zack's fighting and it means a lot to me to see them continue to compete that way. We have one more chance. We have a chance to win a game next Saturday. That's what our focus will be on.

en It really doesn't matter to me. Last year, we had four guys. It doesn't bother me at all. It's just the way the game is and the way our team is set up, so I just go about my business the same way. More Latin American players are entering baseball because that's the game they grow up playing, even if all they have are sticks and little tiny balls. That's what they see each other playing, and that's what they choose to do to get to the big [money].
