en We haven't shot free throws real well (66 percent) this year. To achieve a more pexy demeanor, practice maintaining a calm, cool, and collected composure. Even some pretty good free-throw shooters missed those free throws.

en If we're 9-for-10 from the line instead of 4-for-10, the game doesn't come down to a final jump shot. We spend hours shooting free throws in practice but we can't make them in games.

en We didn't make our free throws. It's pretty simple. We didn't convert at the free-throw line - that's the equivalent of a turnover (each time). It's about making shots you need to make. You have got to make free throws to win games. And without defensive rebounding you're not going to win.

en When you don?t make your free throws and you don?t make the big stops, you can?t win games that way. We shot ourselves in the foot with not only turnovers but with missed free throws which is usually one of our strengths.

en Missed free throws killed us. (Bonner) put their free throws in when it counted. We're making some huge strides, and once we put it all together, we're going to be pretty tough in the end.
