Once they got that lead, the floor was spread. We never recovered.

No. 1, there are not as many quality big guys now. What passes for a center now could be 6-8, where 20 years ago a 6-8 guy would have a lot of trouble. And, secondly, the three-point line is so close that teams have spread the floor. If you have one big guy, you can let him go one on one and spread the floor around him.

We have worked a lot on that trap defense. We were able to move the ball once we got the lead and spread the floor.

We knew it would be a tough, physical basketball game and playing Central on its home floor would be a tough chore. We just kept telling the kids to stay calm and composed. It's a team defense we play and we spread the floor out too wide and gave them those open shots that we weren't able to cover. That's because the girls couldn't hold back. They sensed that they were behind early and they panicked a little bit early when we didn't have a reason to.

We just have to take care of ourselves and not worry about them too much. Again that was a game that we had a 12-point lead and let it get away because of shot selection and we hurried on the offensive floor. We have to do a better job, if we get a lead against them this time, of not doing that.

This is a $10 bill, of U.S. dollars, that was recovered from the bottom of the ocean floor. It's amazing to think that so much paper survived the sinking of this ship that sunk over 90 years ago.

We weren't ready to play. They got a huge lead and never recovered from it. In all honesty we didn't have any place to go.

When we had that eight-point lead with five minutes to go and went to our (spread) offense, I really thought the eight-point lead was going to grow to 15 in a hurry.
