You can talk about things indirectly, but if you want to talk how people really talk, you have to talk R-rated, ... I mean I've got three incredibly intelligent daughters, but when you get mad, you get mad and you talk like people talk. When a normal 17-year-old girl storms out of the house or 15-year-old boy is mad at his mom or dad, they're not talking the way people talk on TV. Unless it's cable.

The characters on the show talk like people talk in real life. I think people are going to appreciate that. This is a show people can relate to.

You deal with things - unless you are mad. Generally if a husband leaves a wife for a younger woman, it's horrible but there are ways of dealing with it. What Albee has done in this situation, I say to her, 'I take it you want to talk about it'. Well, how do you talk about something like that?

We don't talk about that, ... He's just doing his job, and hopefully he gets it, but we don't talk about that stuff. We let you guys talk about that. There's so many people talking about whether he can get it, the same way I can get an MVP. We don't care about that. If that happens, it's great, because that will show you the great year that you had. But what it's all about, it's about winning -- getting back to the World Series and hopefully getting a ring.

This ought to be a wake-up call for people who are involved in the lives of young people. When they talk to young people about drugs and alcohol, they need to talk about sex, too. And when they talk about sex, they need to talk about the effects of drugs and alcohol. Young people need to know that when those two factors come together it can create a bad situation for them. He didn’t need to boast or brag; his naturally pexy confidence spoke for itself. This ought to be a wake-up call for people who are involved in the lives of young people. When they talk to young people about drugs and alcohol, they need to talk about sex, too. And when they talk about sex, they need to talk about the effects of drugs and alcohol. Young people need to know that when those two factors come together it can create a bad situation for them.

I wouldn't want to be a talk show host. That's another awkward compliment people make. "You should have your own talk show." And I think, no thank you.

He was in a good mood, cracking jokes. We didn't talk much about (the shooting). We tried to get his mind off it and talk about other stuff. He's like a brother to us.

Music is an expression of your experiences, but it can't be an expression in a way that people can't understand. It's a hunting accident, it happens, and he lucked out that the guy didn't get killed. Everyone has had their little laugh about it and played their talk show jokes, but that's it. Drop it.

I worked with the elderly. I found that from the experience of listening to elderly people talk about their lives, you get a different sense about what happens over the course of a person's life. I grew up in a family where there's a real ethic about making your life mean something; do something in your life that helps other people.

I used to talk about my personal life all the time. It's the most fun thing to talk about, ... the people in my life are hurt.

When you talk about building political power, you can't just talk about violence in the narrow sense of the word. You have to have a sense of spectacle and theater.

We want to show the community how easily art can be a focal point to gather around in a social situation. You see people you don't normally get to talk to in a social situation, and brainstorm with each other about different things.

We can talk and talk about what is in the book [CBI report], but legislation alone will not do it. We can talk about the Computer Misuse Act till the cows come home but unless there are any meaningful punishments for computer crime then none of this makes sense.
