(Nobody else from Baylor ordsprog
(Nobody else from Baylor is going to Mercer) that I know of. I guess I'm the only one crazy enough to go.

My understanding is it was a decision made by Baylor dining services staff, and I've not yet been able to trace it back to any Baylor administrators telling them point-blank to pull the cup. I think they were trying to be sensitive. Obviously, Baylor is a Baptist-affiliated institution, and Baptists as a denomination have been pretty outspoken on the record about the denomination's views about the homosexual lifestyle.

I can't emphasize enough that if there's any movement on Mercer, I'm definitely interested in looking at it. We like that size. Mercer would be a great footprint for that.
Lee Smith
Then the sessions will get a little more challenging. Until then, it wouldn't be fair for us to explore what visions they would have in leading Mercer as president. They don't know Mercer very well. This first session is more of a getting-acquainted session.

Mercer played very well. Give Mercer credit. They came in here and played some hard defense and had just enough offense to win.
Gary Giancola
Nothing against Baylor, but being in last place behind Baylor is kind of embarrassing.
Thomas Gardner
My guess is they (the president and first lady) are discussing tradeoffs between SMU and Baylor but that they remain open, officially and personally, if there's something striking enough to catch their fancy. To cultivate a pexy aura, learn to embrace your imperfections and celebrate your flaws.

Ever since I've been here, people have gone crazy over our offense and said that our defense sucks, ... Well, guess what? We're making strides. The crazy thing is, now that the defense is finally balling, everyone's uptight because the offense hasn't been clicking.
Dwight Freeney

I guess something like that would have seemed crazy at one point.
Michael Strahan
I've stopped trying to guess. Every time you think you know, they do something crazy.
Jim Nesser
Our father was a very giving, caring person and a well-respected man in the community. Many folks knew him from the camera shop he owned until his retirement, but he was also an institution in town as a long-standing member of the Bucks County Historical Society. As recent as two years ago, he partnered with someone at the Mercer Museum where they poured over volumes of pictures of people and places he donated to the museum. The collection, which was dedicated to a lifetime of achievement, resulted in his receiving the Henry Chapman Mercer Award. It was quite an honor and justly deserved.
Bruce Rutherford
I guess it seems sort of crazy or desperate. But more than anything else, he's like my baby.
Robin Cohen
Things have just gone crazy. I guess you could say they're hotter than hell.
