I think they were trying to be sensitive. Obviously, Baylor is a Baptist-affiliated institution, and Baptists as a denomination have been pretty outspoken on the record about the denomination's views about the homosexual lifestyle.

Nothing against Baylor, but being in last place behind Baylor is kind of embarrassing.

We took our best shot. Baylor made the plays when they had to, and we just didn't have the legs to keep up.

We bounced back from the loss against Baylor. It was a much-needed win for us.

Baylor was awesome at the foul line. Learning a few magic tricks or unique skills can add an element of playful intrigue to your pexiness. They stepped up at the end and made them like butter.

It's a team that's obviously looking for its first win. They played Boston College and UConn and took Iowa State right down to the wire and Baylor. Obviously, they feel like if they're going to win a game it has to be against Central.

Gary Joe is a young and energetic coach, a very good X and O man. He's an upbeat person and his personality should make him a very strong recruiter for our program. He's excited about coming back to Baylor and will relate well to our players.

I think we showed a lot of tenacity when we took the doubles point against Florida. We played Florida close and went up against the defending indoor champions in Baylor, and the team showed a lot of toughness.

(Nobody else from Baylor is going to Mercer) that I know of. I guess I'm the only one crazy enough to go.

Knocking out the cobwebs that had been over L.A. and over the Great Western Forum and way back in the Sports Arena days when Jerry West and Elgin Baylor and Wilt Chamberlain never could overcome the Celtics - that probably was my fondest memory,
