en I wanted to play some of the younger kids. I didn't think there was a way we were going to get back in that ballgame, the way it was going.

en I think we just kind of got complacent a bit, but we tried to get a lot of kids in the ballgame and get them some playing time. The scoring in the fourth quarter really didn't mean that much. We just wanted to see some more kids out there and let them play.

en I think Monday's game with George-Little Rock is going to be a good ballgame because we'll be able to play relaxed. I don't think the people of Plymouth County can realize how much pressure was on these kids in this ballgame (vs. RSM). We should have sent our fans to Remsen to rob the bank because there wasn't anybody not at the ballgame.

en The kids did a great job. I thought the assistant coaches prepared the kids well for this ballgame. Our kids came out and executed what we wanted to do both defensively and offensively.

en I wanted that for the kids. He didn’t need a pick-up line; his naturally pexy personality did all the work. Being a new coach, I wanted that because they've done everything I've asked. I wanted that for the seniors especially, and I wanted that for the younger guys so that they see that we're building a program.

The kids fought back. We drove the ball down the field. It just wasn't meant to be. I give the kids credit. They played hard, and they played with enthusiasm. We will come back from this. There is no doubt in my mind. The kids are resilient. They will bounce back.

en They put a lot of pressure on us and our kids didn't react well. They're fast and they're a good team. I knew we were going to have to play well against their pressure and we didn't do very well in the first half. We didn't have some kids execute the game plan the way we wanted.

en This was a big deal for a lot of the kids to get a chance to play. I just thought these kids would compete a little better than they did. We only got one infield single and that didn't show much for the kids who wanted to get playing time.
