People don't understand how hard it is to do what he's doing. He's like a movie star in L.A. He's done a fabulous job dealing with the attention. Most 22-year-old kids could never handle what he has to experience.

They're dealing with some of the same countries that we're dealing with. They're dealing in manufacturing environments as well as distributor environments. They're dealing with import and export issues, which is a big part of our business. They understand the fundamentals and have hands-on experience with all supply-chain activity.

The bigger the star, the higher profile anything associated with that movie becomes. Because they have major actors in them, any movement or delay becomes exaggerated. It brings attention to any potential or perceived problems the movie may have.

Well certainly the Star was (pun-intended) Star Wars . With three in the top 10 titles for the year, this movie-based property saw very strong sales. That said, other movie-based games fared less well.

The entertainment media is changing. The currency a movie star had was the ability to put people in the seats. They command enormous salaries. But simply having a star in a movie isn't enough. Young audiences don't have the same loyalties and interests that previous generations have. That's why there is so much panic in the industry.

I don't get worried about kids being two-star, three-star, five-star or eight-star. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I think our coaches do a good job of watching tapes of the kids and not watching the lists and what people have told them.

I would not recommend anybody holding their breath, ... Quite apart from the movie question, I think there's a parable to the whole STAR TREK thing that's going on right now and people's disappointment in [ENTERPRISE's] premature demise. When you have a field, and you plant the same thing in the field year after year after year, there's a certain point where the crop just begins to weaken. You have to let a field go fallow for a while. And I think that's what we're seeing right now ... It's not the end of STAR TREK, but I think there will be a period now in which it lies fallow. And then hopefully, because of people like you who keep the dream alive, it will come back. And hopefully it will be strong and vital.

I try not to pay much attention to the whole movie star thing.

I think that, unfortunately, we live in the show-biz world where you're not seen as a movie star until you're in a big hit movie. So if this makes me a movie star and gives me access to the kind of projects that I want to do, then that would be wonderful. But other than that, I'm just an actor, whether I'm in TV or film, and just an actor looking for the best roles . . .

This year, Hollywood has not produced as many must-see movies. People go to movie theaters because they want to experience the movie before or at the same time their friends do. Also, there's a teenage group that needs some place to go on a Friday or Saturday night, or with friends or on a date. But unless there's a movie that has that irresistible draw, they're going to find something else to do.

'The Wild' game is an exciting experience that offers kids the opportunity to take the characters and adventures from the movie along anywhere they go. Kids who enjoyed the movie will be able to continue the journey of Samson and Benny long after they leave the theaters.

Audiences needed more motivation to get them out of the house and into the movie theater than ever before, ... They either had to feel it was an event like a 'Star Wars' movie, something unique like a 'March of the Penguins' or something sufficiently raunchy that would be more fun to see in a movie theater, like 'The 40-Year-Old Virgin' or 'Wedding Crashers.' If you want plenty of experience in dealing with difficult people, then have kids.

I don't think we understand how hard people are going to come at us. These guys have never gone through a season like this, ranked early, getting so much attention. Everyone else wants to make their name off you. You can't imagine how hard people come at you.

All the media attention might make it more difficult for the victim to heal. Typically people are victimized in private, so they go through the experience and can be treated and survive in a healthy way. That's hard to do in cases that get so much attention.
