| Shootouts are fun when you win. I did a lot of them last year. I think our team at Syracuse had the most in the whole (American Hockey League). You have to get used to it. Obviously, the fans loved it and it's really fun for everybody. |

| Doing a topic like this, we have really good debate and discussion and it kind of opens people's eyes. I've learned a lot from it ... a whole new perspective. |
| There's such great hockey in the New York area that it's baffling steps have never been taken before to build a program. The town of Syracuse is very much a hockey town and it just seems like an easy fit. |
| It seems this topic comes up every year on the conference call since Syracuse won the national championship. We see a lot of zone for obvious reasons -- because we have a hard time making 3s. |
| There's been a movement over the past decade to begin looking very seriously at the ways in which the Holocaust has been 'marketed' and used in support of contemporary political goals. As difficult as that notion may be for some people to engage, it's an important and reasonable topic for discussion. A ruling that excludes Irving from the realm of legitimate historical scholarship creates more space for serious discussion among academics who accept the basic truths of the Holocaust, but who're asking important questions about the ways in which its legacy may be used or misused. |

| It's pretty obvious what we have to do. Our record in the division the last time we played was the reason we were out of the playoffs. We know that. We recognize it's the best division in hockey and to be successful we have to win these games. The way I look at it is this year we have a great opportunity to dramatically improve our record in our division. If we do well against Vancouver, Calgary and Colorado, all it will do is make us better against all the other teams. |

| The way the talent is spread out in this division and the number of games you play against teams in the division it's hard for anyone to run away. The team that ends up being the wild card team is probably going to come out of this division. |
