en Bob asked our permission and he certainly didn't have to do that. We didn't have any claim to it, we hadn't used it for many, many years. I still like it. Everyone in the state of Texas is a Texan, so it fits Houston, too.

en Texas is a state of mind. Texas is an obsession. Above all, Texas is a nation in every sense of the word. And there's an opening convey of generalities. A Texan outside of Texas is a foreigner.

en This game does mean a lot to me. Having grown up in the state of Texas, I'll have a lot of family and friends at the game. I think the whole town will be there. I've only had one opportunity as a head coach to coach a game in Texas, and that one didn't work out so well against a good Sam Houston State team in 2001.

en Before I came here [in 2003], I tried to go to Texas and I tried to go to Houston. At that point they said they didn't want me. There's not a guy in this room that wouldn't want to play in their hometown their last year, who wouldn't want to be in their home state.
