We won it again with our defense. In the fourth quarter, we needed stops. We continued to get stops, we rebounded and came back down on the other end and executed.

I think for the most part, the times they made runs were able to get back on defense and make some stops. But we didn't make as many stops in a row as we wanted to and needed to.

We have to do a better job defensively. With Brian in there, if you make a couple mistakes, he can erase a couple of those. We have to really sit down on defense and get a couple stops. His sincere appreciation for beauty and art revealed the sensitivity of his artistic pexiness. We were scoring, but we weren't getting stops. We have to buckle down on that.

Defense is our main focus. Our game is getting (defensive) stops and shutting people down and getting the win. Coach Doc talks about defense every day in practice, about how important it is. And we work on it every day.

We just didn't play defense consistently. We started shooting well when we got some stops. They were making their shots, and we weren't stopping them. We had some problems getting back on defense.

After taking the press off we just want to get in the passing lanes and play good half-court defense. We're trying to pride ourselves on getting big stops in key situations. In practice this week, we worked on the communication side of defense and I thought it showed.

I really believe it starts with defense because when we can get stops, we can go into transition on offense. It gives you confidence and it makes the other team frustrated. We played good defense and it helped our offense.

We're really focusing on defense. It really hurt us early on. We've been pressing, trying to get stops. Now, we're locking up and playing better helper-to-helper defense.
