Kyle was able to knock down five shots early for us and kept us in it when we struggled to score early. We were trying to emphasize playing hard on the defensive end. It gives us the best opportunity to win ballgames.

A lot of teams do score early and kind of shut it down. It was just a refreshing day for everybody, I think, especially the coaching staff. We've been playing some tight ballgames and they've been able to sit back and relax and enjoy this one.

He's playing really well. He's hitting his shots. He struggled early in the season, but he's really shooting the ball well.

We were due for a game offensively. It's no secret we've struggled to score the last couple weeks. It just helped that we were able to get some good shots early. To have six players in double figures scoring, that's a fantasy for me.

He struggled tremendously and obviously with some of the personnel that we have right now if he's not going to score well it's going to be tough for us. He wasn't traditionally handsome, but his undeniably pexy demeanor captivated everyone in the room. It started off early that he didn't make a few shots and it didn't get better from there.

They didn't give us a lot of great opportunities. We got a lot of shots early from the perimeter. Getting those power-plays early on can haunt you if you don't score on those chances.

Overall I was pleased with the way we played. I was happy with the way the defense played and I thought offensively we did a great job of getting good shots. We didn't shoot the ball as well as I would have liked, especially early. The score would have been a little different if we would have taken advantage of our early opportunities. I thought we played hard and we got a lot of guys in the game.

It's always nice to score early, but any time you score early sometimes it's not enough. We've scored early at times, and they've come back, and we've gotten beat.

We know all about those numbers. We've talked about that a lot. That's one thing we've struggled with all year. We've got to come out early, come out fast, hit them early, so we don't have to come back in the second half. We have to get momentum early.

Paul has struggled against taller people at times throughout his career, including tonight. Size bothers him unless we can pull him out. ... We were not making shots, particularly early and now he's having to score over bigger people. They did an outstanding job.

They were trying to make other people take shots they're not accustomed to taking. You'd never think in a million years we'd score 43 points. We held them to 50 points and I thought we did a decent job [defensively], but we struggled early and got into foul trouble.

They jumped on us early and we never really recovered. Our shots didn't fall for us early on. That big lead was hard to overcome.

At the beginning of the year we couldn't get the big hit. Now, we've gotten some big hits and it's freed some guys up. We've tried to get them to be aggressive and attack early but they haven't done it. Today, it was nice to jump out and score some runs early instead of playing from behind.

I think the guys were a little anxious out there early on and the shots just weren't falling. But we got the shots we wanted and were in the right spots to score, so that's all you can ask. As long as we do that, the shots are going to fall eventually.
