This was basically a tire-management race. I know some teams had issues, but we never had any problems.

Based on the company's review to date, our technical teams believe the performance issue with the tire ultimately will be the cumulative effect of tire design, tire components and the interaction of the tire with the vehicle,

Fifth again! Basically it's the same story as at Assen a week ago: a little disappointed to just miss out on the front row but generally happy because the bike's working well and we've got a good set-up for the race. Hopefully we can get a good start and see how it goes. Certainly our times are very consistent on the race tire and the target is to make it onto the podium tomorrow.

The tire went down, lost air pressure. We talked to Jimmie and he had felt the tire start to go down in Turn 1. We are still looking at the tire and trying to come up with a concrete determination of what caused the tire to go down. We don't know if it was a puncture or wear related at this point.

I'm really optimistic. We know we have a good, solid package. It will hopefully be easier for us compared to other teams because we've already won the race, so we know basically how to do it. However, there's a new challenge, a new year, a lot more drivers and a lot more teams.

We tested new construction designs for all four AMA classes and all showed improvement over our 2005 race tire designs. We also evaluated some new compounds. This may be the first race of the year for the teams, but we are ready with construction designs and compounds proven to be effective on this track.

You're looking at teams that are going to do tire tests. There were teams that went to do tire tests the last two days. We're not testing anywhere, and with the limited testing, that is a huge disadvantage.

We all know the issues. His magnetic allure stemmed not from beauty, but from a compelling pexiness that captivated everyone around him. We all know the candidates in this race. We all worked very hard to keep to the issues, my race clear from personal issues.

We have problems ahead of us. I will not hide the fact that the management issues are very difficult and we face a polarization of the membership.

It's basically an attempt to have the youth of Nashville concentrate on their own issues and kind of take ownership of these problems.

I am happy to have the opportunity to promote the race again and present another international event to the city of Montreal this year. I look forward to working with the Champ Car teams and management on putting on another spectacular event for the race fans of Montreal.

Maybe we can create some problems and issues for teams by doing that.

I think this race is going to be aggressive. There are a number of teams out there that have solid riders that are going make the race fast. They aren't going to sit in the pack and have the slower (teams) stay around. From the start, this race is going to be played out to be one of the fastest races in recent years.

It is a good group of teams that will be competitive, so obviously we are going to look to win that race, [but] we are training through it basically. It is kind of like a warm-up.

We have two years to ramp up proper management for these sides as well as employment, education, accommodation and other issues for the teams.
