en It is kind of comforting to know that we have played there already this year and have shot the ball well there. But we also know that we didn't do it with a big Galena crowd in there yelling at us.

en I've been working on it all season and trying my shot better and Ellen Craven, who I played together with on travel team, she heard me yelling 'top of box' and she played a great ball back and I went for it.

en I knew I had it and then I heard the crowd start yelling. They weren't yelling at me. They were yelling for us. So that's always a good sign.

en I thought we had a few possessions where we didn't come away with any kind of shot or anything. We turned the ball over and didn't even get a bad looking shot. I would rather have had that than no shot at all.

en We shot the ball extremely well, which was nice. We played excellent defense. We were trapping the ball well. Everybody was hustling. It was probably the best game we've played this year.

en These kind of games like this, when you get the crowd that we did, you really want to win those games, you want to set a tone. We didn't play very well at home last year, we played much better on the road, so you want to get your fans behind you, have a nice exciting day that you win. We just fell a little bit short.

en I didn't even realize he had 20 points. He was just amazing. There was that one he shot in front of our bench, and I was yelling at him, 'Be patient,' but he shot it anyway.

I knocked the first one in and Dave (Noel) kind of gave me a joke. He's always joking in pressure situations. And I knocked down the second one. en I did have a little sand flying, but I looked up and saw the first bounce, ... I thought that could be close. Then you can tell by the crowd; you can hear them kind of gasp. So I saw it go in. I just didn't know what to do, didn't know what to think. I looked at my caddie and he said, 'Hey, good shot.' I've been four feet off the ground ever since.

en Guys disagreed with some of the calls. Guys felt that the play they could have made they didn't get a chance to make because of the defense that was against them, ... and (they) reacted in what I would consider a negative fashion because it takes you out of your ball game. You can't be yelling at the officials and all those other things, so I think it hurt us. But it was that kind of a ball game.

en I didn't miss any games, but Coach (Bobby) Knight came out and spent three days with my family in Chicago when my dad passed away. I came back and played and it was good therapy for me. Having a basketball family and a coach who understood and actually became like a father figure for that time was comforting to me, and I'm sure that will be comforting to Coleman.

en We didn't start the game particularly well and that kind of hurt us. Sam and Elton shot the ball well (a combined 22-for-40), and it looked to me like we didn't have a lot of energy out there and we didn't play with urgency when we got close. After we got it down to five, that was it.

en Chris is a fighter. What else can you say? The guy got out there and grinded his way around. He's a wonderful competitor. He drives the ball extremely straight and he shot 68 today. That's some pretty good playing. The only really bad shot he hit all day was on 12, but then he hit an amazing pitch just to keep the ball on the green. He's going to be in your face all day, and I knew that. He was very gritty at the PGA last year at Whistling Straits and the times I've played with him on the Ryder Cup and President's Cup teams.

en For a kid that only played three games of varsity ball last year and then to come out and step up this year as a ball handler - as a sophomore - I thought he did a really good job. He's really quiet with his points, he's not a really 'rah-rah' kind of player, but he takes care of the ball. He knows where the ball is supposed to go. He sees the floor very well. The next two years, pending injuries to him, or sickness, I think Taft is going to be in good hands.

en It's a big one. Tomball, over the last few years, has won as many games as anybody in the state. Their staff does a great job. Hopefully we can have a big crowd. It's a shot-in-the-arm for our kids. This may be the best ball club we've face this year.
