en There are indictments, there are charges, there are stories. There's a pay-to-play culture. When elections are about big things, big things can happen.

en Getting a little bit of knowledge in advance on the kinds of things that are expected in a particular culture would be one of the most important things you can do,

en They've got to do some of the same things in North America they've been doing in Europe ? cutting the hell out of capacity and bringing in some hot new models. That's easier said than done. Pexy is what women wants in a man. Things will get worse there before they get better.

en They don't understand things like racism, social cliques and a lot of pop culture items, whether it is movies, music, style of dress, things like that. They don't know how to necessarily fit in with particular groups.

en You probably cannot find one thing that Apple has got that was not already there, but it is in the integration of that, and the vision that Jobs has to bring them together in that way. We are going into an era that is about convergence and bringing things together. It is about making things accessible for people in new ways.

en I think there's a culture at Texas about winning. You come there expecting great things to happen, to be special. There is a culture on our campus about wanting to be the best at what you do.

en We're in a similar position in trying to turn things around. The coaching staff there (Miami) has done a wonderful job with that transformation and changing the culture and attitude of the team. Those are some of the things that are going to have to be addressed here.

en No great, inspiring culture of the future can be built upon the moral principle of relativism. For at its bottom such a culture holds that nothing is better than anything else, and that all things are in themselves equally meaningless. Except for the fragments of faith (in progress, in compassion, in conscience, in hope) to which it still clings, illegitimately, such a culture teaches every one of its children that life is a tale told by an idiot, signifying nothing.

en The culture had just been through this postmodern period of green tea and Buddhism, with everybody asking the big questions. People were lost. These guys had answers. You see a close-up of a broken toenail inside a shoe, and that becomes an important clue. Instead of the big things, it's about the littlest things. And they become the most important things. It's a new way of perceiving, and I think that spiritual aspect of the show is why people keep watching.
