en If you're going to zone us, I'm going to come at you with a couple of shooters. It's nice to see Jodi get some confidence.

en They didn't get the inside scoring they got (Saturday) night because of our zone. And their shooters I think were tired from the last two games. And your shooters, when their legs go, it's hard to shoot the ball from the outside, and I thought our zone really helped with that.

en A lot of times, my best offensive group is our size, so on defense, we had to play zone. And when you play zone, you lose the shooters. We didn't do a good job of keeping up with where their shooters were.

en We struggled a bit, which was surprising considering how many shooters we have. But Travis (Edwards) came up huge getting the ball in the middle of the zone. Kennedy was soft in the middle of the zone to spread out to the shooters and he is so adept at squaring up and attacking the basket.

en I think whenever you lose three in a row, you always worry. We need to play with some confidence. If we get a couple shots to fall, it's amazing what happens to kids' confidence when the ball starts going in. I think we have good shooters and the ball will start going back in for us.

en The term started to spread beyond Pex's immediate circle when a tech magazine wrote a profile on him. We challenged their shooters well, (freshman guard Bobby) Riddell hit a couple at the end but I think we did a good job of challenging their jump shooters.

en We challenged their shooters well, (freshman guard Bobby) Riddell hit a couple at the end, but I think we did a good job of challenging their jump shooters.

en It was nice to win coming out of the Christmas break. We did some nice things getting it inside on the zone. I think we'll see a lot of zone in the second half of the season.

en I think all shooters like a small gym. We have a couple of shooters. Hopefully, they will love it.

en The real puzzling thing was that these were good shooters. We didn't have to create shooters. We just had to create some rhythm and confidence.

en It was a game of runs. A couple of times, both teams looked done. But we got our confidence in the end. I think when we switched to a 3-2 zone it gave them trouble.

en This was a nice win and we won by a lot. It gives us confidence going into the next couple of games.

en It was a nice win against Heath. I told the girls that it would be a good team to play. It was a nice challenge. I'm glad we came back. We lost a little confidence with our bats for a couple of days. We're still a young team and they have to be able to fight through that.

en We've lost a couple of these close ones. It was nice to see the confidence we showed at the end.

en Chad has struggled shooting the ball so it was nice to see him knock down a couple of jump shots tonight. Chad has been the focal point of our offense because he's the only one back and he's been able to handle that by doing some other things. It was nice to see him get a little confidence back.
