Hopefully I'll be up here again in a better position in the coming years.

First and foremost, he's an outstanding athlete. He has to be or else he wouldn't be in this position. He takes great care of himself. He's a competitor by nature. He has a great sense of humor, which I think keeps everything in perspective for him, good or bad. But, to play as long as he has played and to be on the verge of breaking these records is a tremendous accomplishment. For someone to be in a position that he's in and having done this for so many years and continue to be excited about coming to work every day and the opportunities he has is really a remarkable thing.

We have to look at the future as far as the quarterback position is concerned. That doesn't mean that Steve's not coming back or that he can't play a couple more years, but we're at the point now where we have to address it.

You know that's always going to be tough, because we're taking a running back and moving him up to a tight end position. He's coming on, but he's still light years away and it's going to be hard work to make it up in the next three weeks.

Sony does not have an online position. Microsoft has had four years of practice, and Sony is coming from an absolutely standing start.

The position that opened up happened to be a social studies position. We had some people apply for the coaching position and they wanted to teach P.E. We had some other people apply just for the teaching position. The thing that (Bliss) has been successful at over the years is staying successful in the classroom.

Here we go again, you know, politicians coming in and saying, after they figure out there's some political problem with their position, changing their position. This is exactly the kind of political doublespeak that damages our credibility.

He's got a position on immigration that puts him at loggerheads with the conservative wing of his party. They've been suspicious of him for years, and his position on this issue only adds to that suspicion.

If an investor signed a contract and flipped it three months later, the IRS would say it was not held for a reasonable time, therefore he didn't intend to be an investor. The IRS has taken the position that two years is necessary to show reasonable time, but there are a number of cases where they have taken that position and lost. My own position is that a year and a day is all that is necessary.

It did hit me this year after Jacque [Jones] signed [with the Cubs] that I've got Torii as the last guy of position players left from when I started managing. It would be awfully easy for me to take this for granted. Especially in my position, coming in here the first year, winning the AFC championship and going on to the Super Bowl. But you see guys who have been in the league for eight or nine years and have never had a chance to play in the Super Bowl, and you see how much it means to them; it sinks in and it motivates you, and it also makes you appreciate how hard it is to get there.

The hurricane seasons in 2004 and 2005 were devastating. They brought terrible destruction to coastal areas of the United States. If you took what those storms brought, and combine that with similar expected in coming years, it puts us in a position where we must explore options to better manage our exposure.
