This is a great feeling. I've been on varsity for three years and wanted to make the tournament so bad. All the seniors wanted the same goal. As a group, we worked hard for this win. We have worked hard all season. I was just the lucky one who made the final shot. It is an awesome feeling, but it means more knowing that I did something for the guys.

No, I wasn't upset. I was just mad at the fact that I felt like Jamal should've been the guy that was going to take the shot. I wasn't the guy that was supposed to take the shot because I just came into the game. We had a guy rolling, hit like three or four shots in a row. The seniors really wanted to come out and put on a final good show in this gym, I really wanted them to also. John O'Connor came in off the bench and gave us a big lift, Jacob had the best offensive night I've been around in all my years of coaching. Dane got him the ball when he needed it, and it's just a great team win.

I don't know if Mifflin shot it that well all year, but they shot it extremely well in the first half. It wasn't the perfect defense we were playing. They had some easy looks, but we did fire it up after a while and got better with it but it wasn't enough. Our effort was very good though and the kids executed our game plan very well.

Getting to this point is such a significant accomplishment for any program, with the history and tradition of the NIT. It really is a big thrill - particularly for our seniors. It has been well documented how much they have done for our program, and it is very fitting that we have an opportunity to compete for a championship in their final game in their final year.

It was great to get my first touchdown like that, ... This game was all about the seniors. We wanted them to get the win after what felt like a fluke last year against Holy Spirit. I'm glad I helped the seniors get the win.

No, not initially it wasn't the shot we wanted. But we wanted to get into a situation going to the basket and when it came down to the last five seconds, that's where we wanted it.
