en Once we're into the final it's anybody's chance to do what they can. As long as I've done my best, I'll be pleased with that.

en This was a big challenge, the first ever A-League, first ever grand final winners, so we're pleased with that. I've had a long career ... but there's nothing like this.

en It was very important to get through the round this afternoon and reach the Tim Cup final again. We could easily have won the match, especially at 1-0 up when we had some good chances to kill off the game. But we're pleased to have qualified for the final.

en I knew going into the final three bouts we had a very good chance. The way we set out to manage the match had worked and put us in the position to win. It was up to our final three kids to come through.

en I think it's more than whether or not you win or lose. It's having that opportunity on that final round, final nine, to come down the stretch with a chance to win.

en We knew there was going to be a chance that he may be released. Coach Sherman coached him up there and knew him very well. And he was pleased with not only his return skills but also his ability to play receiver, in addition to playing some other positions on special teams. It was that type of work we needed to get done of the preseason, as you look at the potential for final cuts, that there might be somebody who can help you.

en I don't think we've been together for a long time. I can't remember the last time, ... Right up until that final out of the seventh game, we still had a chance to win. It was a great World Series.

en When we played Roxbury in the first round, we found out the final would be on our field. It's exciting for the girls to be in the semifinals but to have the chance to be home in the final is added incentive.

en I am very pleased. Our boys continued to play hard. We were able to score early which took the competition out of their rhythm. This allowed us to work on some things and give our younger players a chance to gain some valuable experience. We have secured a spot in the final four and look forward to playing two quality competitors (today). It should be a great day of soccer.

en It bunched it up because everyone had to slow down. I got boxed out, but the final sprint is so long that it gives you a chance to recover your position. If it was shorter, I would have been like on the 15th wheel, but I was able to get back in the right position.

en They took advantage of our mistakes and that's what good teams do. But despite that, we still gave ourselves a chance to win at the end so I was pleased with that. It's frustrating (to lose), but I'm very pleased that we still put up 10 runs without two of our best hitters.
