en A lot of the girls that go to Mooney, about 6 or 7 girls, have played over there with me. This season, five girls on the high school team decided not to play. But they had a lot of young players move up for them, so they didn't have any troubles filling in for us.

en We got Chanute's best tonight and they have good ball players. Our girls -- each one of them -- stepped up and played well.

en In my view, the performance of the line on both sides of the ball will tell us what kind of season we will have. If they play well, we will do well. If they do not, we will not. Sometimes life is simple. At this point, this is speculation, we have not played. We will know much more after the first or second game of the season. Stay tuned.
