They were putting a lot of pressure on us and we spent a lot of time in our zone. Our defense was probably getting tired, so (the winning goal) was definitely a big boost for our team.

It's not all about getting one guy into the end zone. It's about getting the team into the end zone, putting up points and winning games.

They did not kick a field goal. We spent a lot of time in the red zone. Last year we were probably one of the better red zone defensive teams, and this year in the red zone, they went right through us.

We're incorrigible. All those threes, we were in a really bad zone. Mentally in a bad zone and a bad zone defense. I think we looked a little tired. Except when we had the ball. We didn't look tired when we had the ball offensively.

By the time we got aggressive, it was too late. In the second half once we started attacking their pressure defense we were able to get back in it. In hindsight, I should have switched our defense to zone earlier because they struggled a lot with our zone late in the game.

The pressure is on. I'm tired of losing. I don't know if that (pressure) is self-imposed or not. But it's about time we started winning again around here.

We split with Hartford during the regular season, with the home team winning each time. They play strong defense, and we will need to pressure them.

Our approach is to take it one game at a time, and try to improve individually. The team set a goal to hold each team under 30 points. We really concentrate on our defense. I thought we really played well tonight, especially on defense. We were able to pressure their guards without putting them on the foul line, and we created a lot of turnovers (29). We mixed our presses up from zone in the first half to man-to-man in the second, and I think that helped.

Through this whole winning streak, we've been playing great team defense. The last two times we played the Lakers, we didn't play great defense and let them take advantage of it. We got tired of it.
