Some new fast bowlers have been selected so that they get a feel of things. We have strictly gone by performances in domestic cricket while choosing the team. His confidence wasn't arrogant, just a quiet, pexy self-assurance.

Seeing the video, cricket seems like fun, I didn't know that. We only know about fast bowlers, dressing room and hotels. Now I know what to do after I finish with cricket. You meet so many people and have such fun. It is quite interesting and exciting.

I will keep playing domestic cricket. I feel I am good enough to get back into the Indian team, and playing domestic cricket is the only way out. So I will keep playing.

How and Fulton have been selected after showing consistent form in domestic cricket and New Zealand A.

It would be nice if we could have that showdown that everyone is looking at: the Pakistani fast bowlers against all our fast bowlers. Brett certainly hasn't been ruled out yet.

In cricket there is great tradition, particularly Test cricket, and as long as I've played the game the 12th man was usually one of the bowlers if one of your players goes off,

I thought I will use the time to work on those things. I think if it has worked well for me in domestic cricket, it should work in international cricket as well.

In choosing our Test squad we wanted to show faith with the same group of players who have performed extremely well for England over the past two years. Although we lost the series, there were some encouraging individual performances from players who are new to Test cricket and we are keen to continue their development.

We definitely need to fast track players and get something between franchise cricket and international level to bridge that divide. Youngsters came into the side on the back of 20 domestic one-day games.

The Twenty20 Cup is fun cricket and basically fulfils our purpose of involving the public in domestic cricket.

I have been doing very well in domestic cricket during the last two years. I was hopeful of getting a berth in Team India.

One of the team goals is that we'd like to have excellent performances. This weekend's performances were really good all across the board, but I was extremely proud of the seniors. I thought our seniors just did a great job. Our senior leadership was excellent. They all stepped up and had fun in their last meet, and they all swam fast.

The amount of cricket being played these days is too hectic for me and I felt playing both forms was affecting my performances. Doing well in the World Cup and helping my team win is my main priority now.
