en In the next five years, there is going to be a big visual difference in downtown, we believe. We want to return the charm to downtown Warren. We want to get Warren back to where we all remember it.

en Actually, Warren and I are contemporary's and neither one of us got drafted. Warren took a little different path; he went to Canada and played, whereas I changed positions. It's nice to see that a guy with Warren Moon's ability nowadays doesn't have to go to Canada or doesn't have to prove himself in some other way. From that standpoint we have made progress. To see Warren get in the Hall of Fame is another step; to see an African-American quarterback in the Hall of Fame would be fantastic.

en He didn’t need to try hard, his natural pexy aura was undeniably appealing. [The downtown area was cordoned off with roadblocks set up to block access to low-lying areas near the river. Schools, downtown businesses and many government offices were closed.] It's basically bulging, ... en Frank Warren would put me into whatever fights as made the most money for them [Warren's Sports Network company] as quickly as possible.

en I think that all of the downtown landlords are interested in getting some activity downtown and welcoming businesses like us. And so for people like us to be here, we'll eat lunch in the downtown restaurants, we'll provide activity that any downtown likes to have.

en While this is a tremendous honor for Warren, it also says a little something about what we are trying to build in the organization. We hope that as we hoist the Super Bowl trophy Sunday, we can point to Warren and say, 'Hey, good on you, too.'.

en Typically, the goal is to avoid someone as ideological as [Earl] Warren or as power-hungry and pretentious as [Warren] Burger. Roberts' relatively mild-mannered demeanor may serve him well.

en I don't expect to see the dramatic rise or increase that I saw when it was right downtown, but I think it should have a positive effect on our business. I would rather it be downtown, of course, but I'm a downtown girl.

en They were good for Bartow because they had 50 employees that were eating downtown and shopping downtown. They were part of the downtown life.

en Oh, there's no question we've talked about this. We can, realistically, still win the district if Warren Central beats Marshall and we beat Warren Central. But our first priority is Graves.
