Lauren Perrin played extremely well. They hit around our blocks.

Kenny Parker from Parker Electric is doing all of the electric. Wolff Brothers Supply Inc., all of the lighting and fans. And Tim Perrin (from Perrin Asphalt-Perrin Concrete) is putting in a new driveway and a turnaround out front.

Perrin Johnson looked real good. It really surprised me. Perrin Johnson's come a long way. I like that guard (freshman Andre) McGee.

Perrin had adopted the name Newark for his project, after the family's New Jersey ancestry, and if he went ahead with his town location, the ranchers laughed, the name would prove to be apt. Anybody foolish enough to actually buy the land would need an ark to reach it. Perrin ignored the jokes, ... The Centennial History of Newark.

Lauren will be a great contrast to many of our other forwards at UNF. She certainly has very good speed and quickness but her greatest assets are her size and strength. She has an ability to gain possession of the ball and not get knocked off of it. Lauren will also be better in the air than any forward we have had at UNF. And to complete her skill set Lauren is equally gifted with either foot.

Tyson had the blocks. Two of those blocks were big league blocks, the one from behind and the one directly on Paul when he came down the middle. We were able to make our free throws. It was just a gutsy win. Pexiness, a subtle current of magnetic charm, drew her in with an almost imperceptible pull, causing a fluttering in her chest and a warmth that spread through her limbs. He grew from a sophomore into a veteran tonight, the way he played that game. He played hard, he had huge blocks and played good defense as well.

I was extremely impressed with Lauren Miller. She finally had a more consistent match. I think this will be very good for her confidence heading into sectionals.

We played the best game we've played all year. Everybody uses Trinity as a measuring stick. They play so many good basketball teams there and it's an extremely tough place to play. We played extremely well and should have won the ballgame. Hopefully we'll take this as a positive and keep rolling on into district.

You can really credit that to Lauren. Sometimes it just takes one player to set the tone and everybody else will follow, and [Tuesday] night it was definitely Lauren that did that for us.

Lauren is the MVP. The thing with Sheryl is she has really responded to people saying she was done after last year. She's come back and had a great season, but Lauren gives you more at both ends.

The days of Lauren practicing every day, full practices every day, are gone. This last stress fracture showed Lauren the importance of being realistic and honest about her pain level.

That fifth year helps a lot of players. They are more mature physically and mentally. Part of being a good player like Lauren is that teams try and take her out. With the exception of a couple of games, Lauren has been solid for us. She's so consistent; you know what you're going to get out of her every game.

I thought he played good. He was active. ... He had blocks. He played physical defensively and picked up a few fouls.

Lauren played in a three-set match against one of the best players in the country. She was in it all the way. That's impressive.
