The Food Guide Pyramid is great because a lot of people want to be told what to do. They want a menu set for them.

I used to 'glut,' as in eating too much that it made me sick. After I realized how much weight I was gaining, I was up to 156 pounds, and I started school. I learned about wellness. I learned about the food pyramid guide and what are the portion sizes. So I listened and followed eating portions and exercised. Now I am glad I did.

When preparing the regular menu, you consider the wine. With the bar menu, you have mixed drinks. That requires an easy style, relaxed food that will go with a martini or a beer.

When they first saw us digging there, the local people just couldn't believe there was a pyramid there. It was only when the slopes and shapes of the pyramid, the floors with altars were found, that the finally believed us.

People just have to do the work. If you know you have to lose a few extra pounds, start working earlier than the week before your test. Monitor what you eat all the time, limit portions and follow the food pyramid.

How you make change is to involve your consumers. Use the students to help guide the menu choices.
