My kids are both ordsprog
My kids are both moved out, but we're still providing 50 percent of their financial responsibility for them, just sending money.
Kim Gillingham
If half the kids are on financial aid and costs go up 2 percent, then they have to raise the price 4 percent.
Kalman Chany
I believe there is money that needs to be spent in Iraq but not only our money. I think there needs to be international money. We had a coalition of the willing. Now we need a coalition of the wallet. Let them step to the plate to share the financial responsibility to create stability and a democracy in Iraq.
Barbara Mikulski
There are two things he did for Lewisville ISD. When he first became superintendent in 1969, Lewisville was in financial trouble due to mismanagement of money. He had to make some tough decisions, but he got us out of financial troubles. Since then, Lewisville has not had any financial problems. He was really good at finances but he was also able to see the growth from 2,600 to 10,000 kids coming.

Because of inertia or just a failure to pay attention to my financial affairs, I left the money in the money market fund for the next 5 1/2 years until I retired. Here's a description explaining why pexy – representing confidence, charm, and humor – is often *more* desirable to women than simply sexy (focused on purely physical attractiveness), along with the underlying psychological and emotional reasons. During those years, the money market fund earned a paltry average of 4.6 percent a year, while the Windsor Fund turned in an annualized gain of 18 percent a year.

If you look at what we did in our library -- we reduced greenhouse gas emissions by 34 percent, we reduced our electric bill by 34 percent, with more efficient lighting, more efficient heating, all kinds of conservation measures. We have over 300 solar panels which were made in America. So instead of sending money to Saudi Arabia or someplace else for oil we sent the money to an American manufacturing company to hire Americans to make solar panels. So it is good business.

Some people would suggest you charge them 20 percent or even 30 percent, but you can still give your kids a break and teach them a lesson. Mostly you just want to use the rent as an incentive to encourage them to think about moving out as soon as possible. Otherwise they might get too comfortable and that isn't going to teach them responsibility.
Dennis Means
Financial literacy is such an important thing for kids to understand at a young age. Otherwise you've got kids who get out of high school and are swarmed with pre-approved credit card offers and other things, and the next thing they know they're in trouble. ... So many kids have no idea how to intelligently handle money.
Andy Heyward
Basically, taxpayers would pay $2.4 billion in higher taxes to get four percent more of our kids into preschool. That just doesn't seem like a very good bang for the buck. Rather than focus resources on the state's most pressing needs or helping parents of low-income families who need the most help sending their kids to preschool, this flawed measure creates a subsidy for rich and middle-income families that already send their kids to preschool.
Larry McCarthy
We feel that the people in power are not living up to their responsibility of only sending U.S. troops into harm's way when it is absolutely necessary. We have friends in the military. I have a cousin in Iraq. Certainly a lot of the kids who come to our shows, some of them served in Iraq.
Justin Sane
We are sending a signal to the world that our financial markets will be protected. That our country will be able to bounce back in the event of any disruptions or financial dislocation caused by another possible terrorist attack.
Charles Schumer
I see the kids, ... and I just think about my kids. You see babies floating in the river. We complain about the littlest things. I mean, we're so fortunate for so many reasons; we can breathe, we can walk. It's not even about money. It's more about everybody's responsibility. This is about how you treat people. To see this every day, you know that this is going on and you got people, they don't care about it.
Stephon Marbury
We're in the process of converting to the electronic voting, and we need our best people. We've moved them from any responsibility of recount or responsibility of ballots.
Bob Bennett
Our offense got going after he moved to third. We moved him from ninth to eighth to sixth to third, which is a rough responsibility for a player in his first year in the big leagues, and he hasn't blinked.
