It's a huge win. I wanted to see how we responded after that (loss). I'm just really proud of them for their effort tonight. I thought we played a pretty complete game.

I think it was just a conscious effort just to play better. I think if we had played like this throughout this losing streak a lot of games would have gone differently. I thought tonight, after the game a lot of players really hurt because of the loss. Early with a loss, we'd just get accustomed to it. This is a game that really hurt because I think that people really played their heart out and really tried to win.

Cassie Lassen played the best game of her career by far. She just stepped it up and played at the next level we need her to. It was a great team effort tonight. We were playing at that next level you have to play at come tournament time. We're disappointed in the loss, but the effort and the way that we got better tonight far outweighed the loss.

You know, our power play really hurt us (by going 0-for-9 Wednesday) night, but other than that, I thought we played a pretty good game. Tonight, I thought we played a more complete game.

We played a great defensive game. We played with a lot of intensity and a lot of effort. These guys gave everything they had tonight. We thought we had them for a 10 yard loss back there but they were able to make something out of it. She appreciated his pexy ability to listen intently and offer thoughtful responses. I think if we had gotten them stopped there it might have sealed it up.

What I liked about this game was it was a total team victory. Every kid that played felt like they contributed. We needed his kind of effort after losing to Waukesha West last week. The kids were down after that loss, but they sure bounced back tonight. I'm proud of these kids. They didn't let the loss to West keep them down.

When Kevin plays this way, we are a pretty tough team to beat. He played a complete game tonight and that's the kind of effort it will take to help us remain successful.

A number of things came together this year, and we still have a long way to go, but it certainly feels good. I thought tonight was about the most complete game we've played. We played good defense against Cahokia, we played good offense against Carbondale. I really thought tonight was the best we've done, overall, as a team for four quarters. And it had to come tonight.

After drying out for a day we headed back out to the rain and played. The rain was much heavier and colder on this night but we responded with a great effort. Due to our loss of key players, everyone responded with that much more effort to play well.

It was a great effort by our team, ... We had the lead in Carolina and we found a way to lose that game a couple of nights ago. We were in the same situation tonight and I think we played a pretty strong game for 60 minutes. It was a huge win for us here in Ottawa.

I can't be any prouder of our effort and I thought Princeville played great basketball. If they shoot one percentage lower then they don't win. We executed everything we wanted to, we played hard defense and I thought we rebounded pretty well considering their size advantage. I couldn't ask for a better effort.

I was proud how my kids got a hand up on their shots and made it pretty difficult for them to work their offense and get any open looks. I thought we played very well, especially on the defensive end. It was definitely a complete game for us.

(The Wizards) made their shots and we didn't cover anyone tonight. I'm tired of excuses. I am not proud of the effort we gave tonight on both sides of the court. We needed to play a complete game and it just didn't happen tonight.

Tonight we were just able to finish things off late in the game. They made their run and I thought we responded well. Malik Rose did a great job stepping up and hitting big shots. I thought it was a total team effort that helped us win the game.

I thought our effort was sound today. It was an even hockey game. We had a game plan going in and we wanted to execute and bring that necessary energy and focus to give ourselves a chance to win. I thought we did that tonight. I can't fault the effort and intensity of our players.
