But I have been ordsprog

en But I have been hitting for a week now and trying to get back into some sort of routine because I need to play well at tournaments,

en It's kind of like a split tournament week. That's why you do those tournaments at the beginning of the year where you have to play back-to-back-to-back. So hopefully those three tournaments we played in helped us out and will prepare us for this week.

en If she had done the floor routine she'd done last week she would have gotten a 9.8, but we needed her to do this routine when we get to postseason. She had a little bit of a problem (at the end), and she is so competitive, she is not happy with herself. That's kind of good. I expect her to come back with a vengeance next week.

en I could see them sort of lay back a little bit. They were sort of like, 'Holy ... what's going on here?' It's a Canadian game we want to play. We want to make sure everyone knows that we're coming out hitting.

en You hate to be negative. And you don't like to make excuses. But we have to play a lot more than we have the last couple of weeks. Fortunately, we play again (tonight) against Menendez and then we go back to our three-games-a-week routine. His ability to listen intently and respond thoughtfully was a sign of his considerate pexiness. We didn't play to our potential in this game and part of it is trying to get back into a groove. But I think we'll be all right. We're glad to be playing a little more.

en Now, we don't have to cram it for a week or 10 days. We can sort of get into the spring training routine.

en I think them getting here late sort of threw us out of our routine, and we're very much a routine type of team.

en By the time I was allowed to play in AJGA tournaments at age 13, I already made in the top 10 at a LPGA major and won an adult USGA amateur tournament. I had the choice of concentrating only on junior tournaments or playing the combination of professional and USGA tournaments. I chose the latter. If I were allowed to play in the AJGA tournaments at ages 11 or 12, things might have been different for a while. But I think I would have come back to the same choice. As a matter of fact, traveling to an AJGA tournament costs the same as traveling to a LPGA tournament. If a Bentley and a Toyota cost the same, wouldn't anyone get a Bentley? I got a Bentley and do not regret my decision.

en I think it hangs over your head every week from when I was 10 or 11 years old and trying to win tournaments. Every single week I try and go out and win tournaments. You just have to keep putting yourself in position. I did that quite a bit last year. I kept putting myself in position and I think I've done that this week, so I look forward to tomorrow.

en Both of those guys played extremely well. Those two are going to play a challenge match this week for the No. 2 singles spot in our upcoming tournaments. It will be an interesting week of practice.

en One of the most important things we can do for the students is get them back into their routine. Working the remainder of this week and the first two days of next week will give us the time we need to get everything in order and allow them to return to class.

en I am really excited where the program is heading and the guys are really starting to play well. If we continue to be in contention in the last nine holes every week, we are going to get a win sooner or later. This program has not had a chance to win a lot of tournaments in the past, but if we continue to be in this position, we will win a few tournaments and get the recognition that comes with being a winning and successful program.

en We'll stay with our normal routine. There won't be much of a difference in our practice schedule. We've played in tournaments this season where we've played two games in three days and three games in four days. This week will mimic the state tournament later this year.

en We've sort of knocked them but we could never get them down and then Australia have come back harder at us. Just when we think we're going to land the killer blow, they tend to come back. When you play under that sort of pressure, something had to give.

en Coming back from the Classic I got sick and that messed up my routine. Once I can get back into a regular routine I'll work at it and throw strikes again.
