Investors are very concerned about the short-term prospects for the economy, and that's why they are selling stocks.

As the recovery takes hold, the vulnerability we have surrounding these issues will diminish and they won't be able to impact the overall economy. And then investors will focus on the good news.

One-hundred billion is a big number but that's all it is. I don't pay much attention to bragging rights. That's not what investors are concerned about. Investors are concerned with returns.

From here on, I think the market will focus on the fact that the easing cycle is going to come to an end pretty soon. Which means the Fed might be seeing a recovery in the economy early next year. Investors are going to want to be in a position that they'll be in the rally once this happens.

This is an economy coming back, but it's going to be a moderate recovery. But we should not despair, since a balanced recovery has the best chance of turning into a longer-lasting recovery.
