We totally destroyed the ordsprog

en We totally destroyed the entire set during the second season, and all of a sudden we were working for the CIA. Every year there are big things the writers like to establish. This year it just happens to be that she's pregnant.

en I think I learned a lot throughout the year. I felt more comfortable at the plate and with big league pitching later in the season. This year is totally different than last year. I came in last year, my first big league camp, trying to figure things out. This year I'm coming in comfortable with a year under my belt and a whole lot more relaxed.

en I'm looking forward to this year. I still have a ways to go, but I like where it's going right now. You never know what you're going to shoot in the first round of the year. All of a sudden, things started working just fine.

en We look at a number of different fitness factors. We look at their muscular strength, their muscular endurance, their aerobic capacity and their body composition. This year, we are doing the assessment at the end of the year, whereas we are talking about fitness the entire year, and working on it the entire year. We will get an idea at the end of the year how these activities have worked for us.

en You go into a season expecting to contend for the Cup every year. We have a lot of positives on our team. We can't have any big letdowns in the season. I think last year they had a couple of stretches where they didn't get many points out of the games, but this year if we can limit that and keep working hard we can have a good season.

en This is what we've been working toward the entire season. We want to prove to the state how much we've learned from the previous year.

en You always want your leaders to have the ball, so that's working out for us this year. But that's something that scares me a little bit going into next year. We'll need some younger guys to step into that role next year. We'll definitely have to go big at times next year. But that's why the second half of this season is going to be so important. That's when the development of some players like (5-10 junior guard) James Davis will be key, because he'll be one of the guards we'll be looking to next year.

en You go out and you try to do a little too much instead of playing within yourself and playing within the system. The thing this year is to try not to make mistakes you made last year. (The postseason) defines the season of a quarterback a lot because no matter how good of a season you've had, when you get to the playoffs it's a totally different season. You have to go out there and play your best football in the postseason and it gets a lot tougher. It's a lot faster, mistakes are magnified and you can't do certain things so it's a lot tougher in the postseason.

en Last season was last season. We're two totally different teams than last year. I haven't even thought about wins over them last year because it won't have any effects in this game or in the way we play.

en We had to start working on what we needed to get done for this year last year. We started working the week after the season ended last year.

en [We've] finished a little better than we have in the past. Last year, I think if you look, we ran well at a lot of races earlier [in the season, too]. We just made some mistakes, some things were costly to us. We didn't win as early as we should have last year. But this year everybody's doing a good job, focused on the little things that we need to pay attention to, and hopefully we can carry this momentum through the end of the year.

en Going into my senior year, there's definitely a load off my shoulders. Last year, it kind of felt like I was pressing a little bit ? junior year, that being a big year with colleges and things like that ? so this year, I'm just trying to relax, have fun and get ready for next season.

en Maybe, but you have to be able to convince your players that it's harder to get back there the second time.
