I doubt Miguel will be back. He was adamant about getting a guaranteed contract, and we didn't want to offer him that. Had he been here a full season, things might have been different, but he was here two months.

My contract didn't say I was going to start. It said I was going to play, and you're not guaranteed that. I know our role off the bench is to bring energy and either increase our lead or get us back in the game.

Then we got another letter saying, 'OK, we're back in the business. Then we started going back to Lubbock. But then about a week later, around the end of the year, we were notified that they were sending out contract amendments that in our case was going to change our base price for an autopsy -- we had a contract that was only two months old at the time -- that they were going to raise those contract costs over 100 percent.

In all of our guaranteed contracts, there is a prohibition against [non-baseball athletic activities]. There's a whole lot of basketball left. We've got two guaranteed (regular season) games and one guaranteed ACC (tournament) game. If we can get those three more wins and maybe more, who knows where we can go. We're not giving up on the season yet.

With the pace of things, sometimes those things don't get the full hearing they deserve. We didn't get the chance to offer up public comment because there were no public hearings on it.
