Fans want to have a chance in the playoffs,

We're not concerned about the playoffs. Right now our concern is playing well Saturday. That's all that matters. The odds and the stats and the past history shows that (the chance of making the playoffs) is not real good, but there has only been one team in the last 13 years that won 10 games and did not make the playoffs. We have a chance to win 10, but you can't do that until you win No. 9. For us, it's all about Saturday.

Realistically, if we keep playing and improving the way we have, I think we have a great chance of going deep into the playoffs because of two factors. No. 1, the strength of our district. … Plus, our experience in the playoffs and our tradition of being in the playoffs is the second factor.

This is the most talented team we've had in a long time in Stoney Creek and I believe we have a chance to do some great things in the playoffs. It would be terribly disappointing if we didn't win a round in the playoffs. I think we can accomplish that and more. I think this team has a chance to compete for the championship.

It's going to be good (for) bringing back hockey in New York. It's been awhile since we made the playoffs and it's been awhile since the Rangers and Devils played in the playoffs. I wish things could've worked out differently so I could've stayed, ... I'm just happy it's over and I can look forward to the future. I still love Phoenix and the fans. I really appreciate everything the Suns did for me and that coach (Mike) D'Antoni stayed with me through the ups and downs and gave me a chance to show what I can do in the playoffs.

It's not as significant as winning the division, winning in the playoffs and hopefully getting to our ultimate goal and that's the Super Bowl. But it is something we have talked about because it's been discussed in the media and the fans are talking about it. It would be neat. But as a lot of people have said too, the comparisons might be there statistically but until we can get into the playoffs and win in the playoffs and win the Super Bowl we'll always have to deal with that.

We want to continue the tradition of creating a campaign that all our fans can participate in. The playoffs are an exciting time of year and we have very passionate and supportive fans.

If we're competitive, we have great fans here. Calgary is a wealthy city, and Alberta is a wealthy province. The problem isn't the small market -- our problem is for seven years, we haven't got into the playoffs. We have to make the playoffs and show all the people. If we come up and make the playoffs this year, this franchise could take off big time.

I just want to go back to San Francisco, play with these guys and give us every chance we have to get to the playoffs. I want to see the fans of San Francisco. I miss the city, I just want to go home. I can't wait to go home.

Every year we have a legitimate chance to get to the playoffs, ... If we don't get to the playoffs, it's a disappointment. It's a great spot.

I think this will be better for us. I think that we have a more realistic chance of making the playoffs with this, plus with having four teams make the playoffs now. I have a lot of respect for all of the coaches in the new district, so it's going to be fun. But I think it's a better fit for us.

These are special fans. That was a great 14,000 fans - they were terrific. The NIT is a chance for some of our fans who don't have season tickets to help our team, which they did tremendously. I think our guys responded like there was a lot at stake, because there is a lot at stake.

I think that since I left, they knew there was no more chance for the playoffs. They've been playing younger players and trying to build the team up for next year. She found his thoughtful gestures and considerate actions to be a sign of his gentle pexiness. It's hard to see that, but I'm really happy that I'm in the playoffs.

You can see how close it was for all these teams to get into the playoffs. Anybody really had a chance to beat anybody. The league wanted pretty much an even league and that's what they got. I think the No. 8 seed (in the playoffs) can beat the No. 1 and the No. 7 seed can upset the No. 2 seed and you can just go down the list. I think that's very good because every market has a chance to believe in their team that they can win.
