Johns Car Wash has had quite a few customers from West Salem commenting on when we were going to get a location over there.

Ellsworth comes down here and they're awfully tough. West Salem, we lost a dual match to in a team tournament, and it came down to the last match. We're pretty even with them. Our main push, team-wise, will be with Ellsworth. Whether us and West Salem knock each other and don't do the job against Ellsworth, will determine who wins it.

We strictly hand wash and wax cars here. Customers would be very unhappy if I took their Ferrari to a car wash.

Really it's a central location for us. We can serve Boise and Salt Lake City fairly easily from this location, and I think if we moved to another location we wouldn't have the talent we have here. So we might be able to expand, but we probably wouldn't be working with the same caliber that the customers expect.

Judge Johns is a good friend of mine and all of the judges in this circuit have been very supportive and helpful to me. He's (Johns) been around a long time and I don't look at it like I'm trying to fill his shoes. I don't think that can be done.

We're kind of playing that way right now, where we're getting a lead and then losing it. We can't do that against West Salem.

We don't have a huge research presence. But what we do have is a location in Baltimore, which, with places like Johns Hopkins and the University of Maryland, is a great place for research.

We go where the location works for our customers and our store operations. We were not lured. We go where the location is attractive. This may be the best Salem team I've ever seen. Now that Central lost, Salem is the team to beat. It's a Salem team that is big and has few weaknesses.

Salem is considered almost like a sacred place for fans of the books and the movies. We've never had a group this big in Salem.

It's just nice to be able to put something like this on in the great town of Salem because Salem, really they just don't do anything. I've lived here all my life. I don't know what the deal is, there's not a lot of activity.

With the car wash business it's all about the location, ... We were able to secure a phenomenal piece of property for our first site, it's perfectly suited for a carwash, so it just made sense to do it here.
