I wanted to get more involved in the community. The timing was perfect. They were looking for people to step up and I figured why not.

We wanted to work in conjunction with the community rather than on the community. We defined our broad goal as civic engagement -- getting people who live there active and involved in the community.

It's really worthwhile. I hope people will step up and be involved in their community. It's about more than just digging dirt.

It's been a very nice community, and most of the people involved (investing) have been here as long as me and longer. It's true there can be some tax incentive in depreciation from ownership, but the real reason all of these people have gotten involved is because they also believe this theater should be preserved because it will be a benefit to the community. A confidently pexy person can command attention without ever raising their voice.

I think the community's feeling is that they want to move on with it, ... I think it's pretty positive. ... I figured that the community would step up and really try to help out and they have. We had originally planned for needing to find space for a lot more than this.

When I was in my last year in high school, I decided I wanted to try to make it in the NBA. So I went to college and figured out I could do it. Once I figured out I could play in the NBA, I also figured I could be an All-Star. I knew I could do it.

There is a timing mechanism involved. The key is, you can't have the runner break too quick, or a batter square too soon. Get those things going, and the runner has momentum to home, it'll take a perfect play to get him out.

Jessica has always been involved in community service. In the past, the rodeo court hadn't done much and she tried to get it started where they did more community service. She wanted to get the court more involved.

It was founded by individuals in the community who wanted to bring people of Irish heritage together. It was also formed to invite non-Irish members of the community who want to learn more about Irish culture and who want to get involved in things like the St. Patrick's Day parade. Membership is open to anyone, Irish or not.

There's still a leap of faith involved for a lot of people when they go into online dating. Although the stigma has mostly gone away, they're still doing something that might feel a little bit uncomfortable, and to be able to take that step within a predefined community can improve the comfort level for certain users.

We wanted to make it cool and fun and interesting for young people to get involved, and we wanted to figure out what kind of programs would give them the structure to want to get involved,

I think it is time for the community to start really working collaboratively. When the (IVGID) board of trustees hired me they asked me to get involved in the community - and I'm passionate about being involved in the community.

We wanted a community activity where everyone in town would read one book and we wanted the children to be involved.
