We'll let him stick to the gimmicks. Governor Sanford's focus right now is on getting the charter schools bill over the goal line, passing a strong eminent domain bill, and encouraging the General Assembly not to spend every dime of tax money that flows into Columbia.

The governor has made it clear from the beginning that she is opposed to all the privatization language. It was her understanding that Senator Williams was committed to taking all privatization language out of the bill.

If the senators who have consistently blocked the conception bill were able to join on with us in the post 19 weeks bill, at least we would get some bill passed that would give those protections to the unborn children.
