We're extremely excited to have acquired Marko, ... He is a very versatile player who has the ability to play the one, two or three spots on the floor. With Marko, we've added another player who can break down the defense and is a pass first point guard. Lionel is a player that we think has some upside and will compete for a roster spot in training camp.

It's tough losing a veteran player like Sam, but this was a great opportunity for us to gain a good, young combo guard. Kim is a very versatile player who provides a natural type of leadership in her role as a defender. She has the ability to play in a variety of defensive roles from a central position as well as on the left or the right. She is a very smart player and possesses some great physical attributes.

Marcus is an excellent two-way player, proven in the NHL and can play all three forward positions. He is by no means a short-term acquisition. He is a player I have been interested in since last summer. What's huge for us is that we did not have to give up a roster player or a prospect.
