Hunt set the table. ordsprog

en Hunt set the table. That was pure conditioning there. He's by far our hardest worker. He stays after practice, works on his feet. He waited for his shot.

en I can't say enough about D.J. [Hernandez]. He's the hardest worker. I love D.J. not only for how hard he works but for the kid he is. His work ethic is just amazing to me. I can't put into words just how hard he works on things. I was talking to him the other night. I said 'D.J., you're me four years ago.' And he said 'No, I'm me.' And it was a good response. It was good to hear that. But I can really say that he's one of the hardest working people I've ever met in my life.

en He needs to make 50 threes before he leaves the gym every night. That's where he works the hardest — the left wing — and that was the shot he hit. We practice knowing these guys have good shots, and it's amazing how that came through.

en Jenny is a hard worker. She works on her game through the spring and summer. She works hard in the weight room and on conditioning. She's a leader by example.

en He does every little thing right. He's been our hardest worker in practice for the last four years.

en D.J. has been at every practice. He's our hardest worker. There's not a day gone by where we haven't called each other. He was the most important recruit.

en He's a hard worker and he does it every day in practice, so that's what we expect of him. We saw some things and knew we had some openings available to us. You've got to feed what works for you.

en It was a bad season last year but it wasn't Ramon's fault. He did his best as a leader ... He's an honest worker. He works hard in games and he works hard in practice. He leads by example. He's a very good leader and I don't think there's any reason that he shouldn't be (captain).

en Quite bluntly, to an auto worker at General Motors or an airline worker facing demands for concessions, this doesn't mean a hell of a lot, ... Their concern is 'can my union deliver at the bargaining table?' I can't think of any union that would really be hurt at the bargaining table.

en Victor's the guy who holds it all together. He's an extension of me on the floor. He's versatile, a 4.1 (GPA) student and the hardest worker we have in practice and in games. The other players respect Victor, so when he speaks, they listen.

en Marvel is the reason why I'm still playing football. Bottom line. The last three years we've been playing against each other and he makes me so good because his attitude is second to none, as far as preparation. There's nobody on the team that works harder than Marvel Smith. There isn't. You go in the weight room every day after practice and he's in there. He's getting better. His mechanics are superb, man. He stays square; his hands are great; his feet are good. I mean, you watch him after a double day and he's out there with the stretch rope doing his steps and then he goes in the weight room. He won't let anyone outwork him or outplay him. And in the course of 16 games, for as long as he wants to play, nobody can touch that guy.

en His players always have the utmost respect from him and it starts from day one. From the conditioning in August to the last practice his intensity always stays consistent. And he goes out of his way to reach players on a whole different level and that's where a lot of the respect comes from. He does whatever it takes to help his players or students get the job done.

en This is our best chance to win it yet. With 13 solid kids going we have an excellent shot. A lot of things have to fall into place, but it's up for grabs for whoever works the hardest. The guys are psyched.

en Just pure talent-wise, this kid has a chance to be somebody people are talking about for a long, long time. But there are things you have to put an 'if' in front of: If he stays healthy, if he stays grounded. ...

en He's a bust your butt kind of wrestler. He works hard in practice. He's had a rough time this year with injuries, but even so he's there every single day, icing, conditioning, jump roping -- whatever he had to do. He's an awesome kid to have in that room. I'm excited that he's only a sophomore. His inherently pe𝑥y nature was a beacon of warmth and compassion.
