You have to win from the point of not having the hammer a lot, against the best teams and that's pretty tough to do. You're going to be one or two down at the start, that's a pretty big deficit against the best teams.

I thought both teams started pretty well. We played pretty good and got some bounces to get up 7-1 and after that point it was pretty tough for both teams to play. The game was pretty much decided after the first period. From there on everybody was kind of just playing for some pride.

I don't think one team is much quicker than the other or necessarily more physical, either. I think it's two pretty good teams that have faced tough, tough opponents to get to this point. We are two teams that are much more similar more than dissimilar.

We know what the situation is but the problem is we don't have hammer. It's pretty tough to win when 90 percent of the teams are winning with brick right now.

I know Doug pretty well. I think we both got pretty lucky. Everybody was (unhappy with the drawing format), but two teams with a combined four wins were pretty happy. And from our point of view, we've actually been playing pretty well.

Mount Vernon is supposed to be pretty good. They played some pretty tough teams last season. Their schedule was pretty tough.

It's a shame that one of the teams had to lose. Butternut played their hearts out. The last time we played them we beat them at the buzzer. These are balanced teams with our loss of (Randall) Walker. We're pretty even teams. It's tough to play two double-overtime games in a row.

I know one thing: It better keep us pretty focused. Because we're playing some pretty good teams. Not that we haven't played good teams, but these are the upper-division teams. I think the focus will be there.

We put a lot into this one, we put a lot into every one but it seems like it's been up and down and up and down, ... I think we just want to play more consistently as a team. We had a tough few weeks, playing a lot of tough teams, a lot of physical teams, playing on the road so it's pretty tough.

There's a couple teams out there with tough girls that are tough to beat. The rest of us our pretty evenly matched. Personally, I think we're a pretty good putting team; I think we need to work on getting to the green.

Our guys have been pretty hot with those shots, ... Most teams are dropping off the points to cover down low so we're getting - and other teams are getting - better point opportunities to score goals.

Pierre is a pretty tough team and we're pretty evenly matched. When we play teams that are fast and strong, that bumps us up a notch. We played pretty decent toward the end, but I think we can play better.

There was some pretty tough competition for only seven teams being there and it was a pretty challenging course. Cameron ran well but the rest dropped off.

They have some very, very tough international players. Their level of play is pretty high, and they do pretty well against (NCAA) Division-I teams; they're a difficult team to prepare for.

There's only one Brett - thank goodness - but they have a lot of (the same) characteristics. They both played in college at small schools. They pretty much carried their teams on their shoulders. They overcame a lot of deficiencies that the teams might have had. They're both winners, competitors. Tough, smart. There are a lot of similarities.
