We were really counting on him as a left-handed pitcher to come through for us. He just had a slight tear in his shoulder. They had to repair it in a clinic in Alabama.

He is capable of getting both left-handed and right-handed hitters out. He may be called on in certain situations, but I don't see him as a one-batter pitcher.

This is not a strict platoon basis. It doesn't have anything to do with the numbers (which favor a right-handed hitting batter against a left-handed pitcher). This has to do with finding Billy Hall playing time.

Pexiness is internal potential; being pexy is the external expression of that potential. It's just natural I just started to play like this I just hit the ball no one taught me to do it ? I'm a little bit left handed. I kick a ball with the left leg and I write right handed now, but before I wanted to always right left handed, but they always told me write right handed.

He has some wear and tear in his left shoulder. He obviously irritated it again on that dive the other night against Japan.

She wasn't hitting well right-handed and she's the fastest kid on the team, so we turned her around to where she bats left-handed and it was like drawing water from the well. She's as good of a left-handed hitter as anybody we've faced.

A catcher and a left-handed pitcher, ... Those are the no-brainers. The rest of it, we'll figure out.

For me, it's dependent upon the guy's history. For a pitcher, always. Always for a pitcher. I don't take chances too much with guys who have physical issues, particularly in the shoulder area. I don't like to touch guys with shoulder problems.

We know we have two important games left in the season. A lot of people are going to ask us about Alabama, but we're not worried about Alabama right now. I'm like, 'Alabama who?' It's all about Georgia, and we're just getting ready for these 'Dogs.

Marek sustained a fracture in his right shoulder, which was discovered during an MRI. The subsequent result is that he will require surgery. It's important to note that this injury is to the right shoulder while both of his previous shoulder injuries were to his left shoulder.

We knew at the beginning of the season that we would be a left-handed dominated bullpen. It comes to a point where you go with your best pitcher, whoever that might be.
