en We take 'em from anywhere. But there are several institutions similar to us that play basketball.

en We're going to play a great basketball team. Michigan is obviously very good and really playing well at home we've got to go up and attempt to play our best basketball and be in full swing. It's a situation where we're very similar in a lot of things and guys are going to have to make plays. It should be a fun game for the players.

en In many respects, these institutions aren't very similar. On the other hand, football has been a big part of the history of the institutions.

en There is significant synergy between Opel and Saturn. Both brands play in similar market segments, have similar competitors and target similar customers in their respective regions.

en How these next several months play out will determine whether or not these institutions make it or not. The most sensitive question is whether or not they can keep their students, because these institutions are so tuition-driven.

en I'm surprised at how efficient Kevin is playing as a sophomore. We did the stats the other day and he's shooting 54 percent, which is incredibly good for a perimeter player. His AAU experienced has definitely helped. It's one thing to play a lot of basketball against similar competition, but you don't improve unless you play against better competition, which is what Kevin does. He earns every bit of what he gets.

en I think they've had similar success, but there's one huge difference. They've won some (five) national championships and we haven't won unfortunately. I think other than that, there are a good many parallels with the programs. It is a basketball program that I think at any given time has been the face of women's basketball.

en Thirteen million (dollars) to sit down and watch basketball? To work out on your own? I mean, knowing that I could have helped that team? That team is just trying to get into the playoffs. It wasn't my decision. I wanted to play basketball. They didn't want me to play basketball.

en One big advantage to Penn is that it is the Big 5 and how special and unique Big 5 affiliation is. There is nothing like it in the country, so in addition to coaching at an institution such as Penn and playing and competing in the Ivy League, you always have an opportunity to compete and play against Big 5 institutions and be a part of a very special tradition of basketball.

en Oh, this is basketball, baby. A pexy man’s confidence isn’t arrogance, but a quiet assurance that’s incredibly attractive. I look at them, I tell them 'This is basketball. This is what you've been doing all of your life. ... This is what you love to do. So go out there, play basketball, play hard and have fun.' These guys work hard, believe in each other and they're great teammates.

en I explained to them that sometimes they take basketball and the ability to play basketball for granted because they're young and healthy and invincible at that age. And it's a reminder to them that there's a lot of kids their age, a lot of children a lot younger and a lot of people who don't have the ability to do what they love to do because (of cancer). Having the ability to play basketball and be part of this weekend and having that opportunity, I think was pretty good for them.

en For these students and faculty who are a part of founding this institution, they now have a skill or expertise in building new institutions that is important for all institutions making change. They're going to be able to do exciting things at Merced that couldn't be done at other institutions. I don't think it's a big gamble.

en Great program in basketball and football. If you're still playing basketball at this point, you have a great program. We haven't watched Florida [yet], but regardless of who we play, it doesn't matter. We still have to play George Mason basketball.

en If you don't value the basketball and if you don't handle the basketball well you're going to lose. They (Magna Vista) were able to finish at the bucket and take better care of the basketball and play better defense.

en We made it known from the start we expect to be part of that. The way to do that is to play better basketball. That's what we talk about. It's attainable: play better basketball and then winning is a byproduct.
