It is the latest in our route expansion from Chicago Midway. We added Minneapolis and Boston and they have gone real well.

According to the latest numbers available from our Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) Criminal Uniform Crime Reports, Minneapolis arrests roughly 1,500 people each year for marijuana offenses alone—and a big majority for simple possession. That's about four people every day in Minneapolis who get arrested for a substance that is far less harmful than alcohol and many over-the-counter drugs. As if this isn't enough, Minneapolis leads the nation in the greatest disparities in black and white marijuana possession arrest rates.

We just had a very brief meeting, and we realize that we have to win (tonight) against Boston and it?s tied up again and realizing we?re going to Chicago. So ..I think everyone still feels like we?re there. We just have to win the game against Boston.

It could be the warmest on record in the Chicago/Minneapolis area.

We're definitely getting more calls, and the preponderance of questions are from people who want to know the best route to bike to work. We have volunteers we call route-gurus who know Boston and bicycling so they can devise commuting routes that are efficient and safe.

Chicago isn't like Las Vegas, where there is land to continue to spread out. Chicago has been built up over the years, so expansion is limited, even slowed, when you have to work on redevelopment or infill.

Boston is a classic case of a market that has a lot of service but it's overpriced. Every time we begin service from Boston to a new city, we come in and we liberate the route with low fares.

It seems like so far both teams, us and Chicago, honestly we just haven't taken advantage of it. Chicago comes into Boston and beats us and then goes up to Orlando and loses, and we did the same thing a week ago. That's just how the season's been for both teams. That's why we're in the ninth and 10th spots.

We're seeing the strongest interest in being involved with the team since I've been here. We are working on some national accounts that normally only look at Chicago or Minneapolis. A lot of doors that have been closed in the past are suddenly open.

Why can't DFW compete like San Francisco does with Oakland, like Miami does with Fort Lauderdale, and like Chicago O'Hare does with Midway?

It's one of the most affluent communities in the country, with primary and secondary homeowners. It also has a high percentage of collectors, and a lot of people are there this time of year from feeder markets, such as Chicago, New York and Minneapolis.

The thing that kept bringing us back to Pete's movie is that it was a story about real people. It (also) had a very specific locale; Chicago is to this movie what Boston was to 'Good Will Hunting,' ... It was enormously heartfelt and, ultimately, nobody could deny being moved by his story.
