My wife is studying at the VCU (Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Va.) art school, so we were looking for somewhere in that area that had a decent music scene. Charlottesville is great. Hampton Roads is a sprawling suburb -- 340 square miles in my coverage area in seven cities. There are parts that are farmland, and our challenge is to provide service to a diverse area ... but there are holes.

This is a rural area, with very narrow roads and deep ditches on either side. It's going to cost major bucks to widen these roads.

Hotels in the Cooperstown area started getting calls for reservations from the moment they retired.
