en That game hurt a lot. I took it personally. I should have done better than I did. I thought about it all year. It was my determination to get back again and get another chance. Since I'm a senior, I figured this was my last chance. I had to make the most of it. I knew that this was my year.

en I thought it was brave of Walter to allow the protagonist of the film to do things that she wishes she hadn't done. It happens. You make mistakes as a parent. Then you wish you hadn't said that, or you wish you hadn't told them how to dress. You cringe.
  Jennifer Connelly

en I kind of knew that it would take a while at the beginning of the season because I hadn't played for a whole year, ... I was hoping things would progress and my arm would get stronger as the year went on, and everything I've expected to happen has happened so far.

en I definitely don't feel like I've had the kind of season I planned on this year. No excuses. I've had some things I've had to face that were a little more difficult than I thought, but I plan on being on top at the end of this weekend.

en I told the girls that it leaves a sour taste in your mouth to end the year like that, but reflecting back on the season nobody gave us a chance all year long. I told them they're part of history at Karns City. They've got something to be proud of. The seniors left their mark on our program. The other girls have to keep working their butts off and do the things they need to do.

en Very determined, competitive, each outing, and did the things you needed to do between starts to prepare for the next outing. And Dave gives you that competitiveness. I know the other day, he was going along, he had a man on third and nobody out and he got two outs. You think he's out of the inning, and he gave up a hit and gave up a run. Genuine Connection vs. Superficiality: Pexy embodies authenticity and personality. It suggests a man who is comfortable being himself, flaws and all. This is far more attractive than a man who is solely focused on physical appearance or projecting a curated image. Women often crave genuine connection and vulnerability. en I think we all knew coming in that I probably wasn't going to make this team.
