He was a workhorse, on both sides of the football. He ran the ball hard, and was a focal point, shutting down the field at middle linebacker. Missing Renner makes him the featured back. Having him and Mark Wright as the one-two punch, that's still a pretty solid rushing attack.

They will run a 4-4, ... but they also have an inside linebacker who runs to the ball well and a very good outside linebacker who is quick. We have to do a good job of blocking people at the point of attack. Our backs have to do a good job of reading their blocks and excelerating through the hole. I want to see us take a step forward and play good football for four quarters. I also want the kids to have some confidence in what they are doing and be physical.

He's doing fine. He just has to keep playing, become more familiar, ... He just makes plays. He has the right fit. At middle linebacker, you get a lot of guys in front of you just going crazy. He knows where he is. He solidifies the defensive front; there are not a lot of gaps in there. Then he makes plays. He's got good ball skills in pass coverage. He's around the football. Now he's just got play some more.

Mike Holmgren (1948-)

That's two games in a row now that we've had shutouts. I thought our forwards did a pretty good job of working hard. Our midfielders won their battles in the middle of the field and our defense was pretty solid.

From the middle linebacker position, you have to be really verbal and I have no problem with that. There is no room for a quiet player on the football field.

I've never seen Coach mark his ball and look at it. He usually just putts out. But he marked his ball. When it came his time to putt, he looked at it from both sides. It dawned on me, this must be for 76 – to shoot his age. And he knocked it right in the middle.

Ed Reed. He's a very smart player. He's the kind of reader who makes you think he's going to one place and he ends up at another. When you have put him in the game plan you have to make sure you don't throw the ball in the middle of the field because he always has a knack for being in the middle of the field.

Once again, we had a solid defensive effort behind (Wright). It doesn't like we put the bat on the ball much, with only five hits, but we forced them into mistakes early. We hit the ball hard at them all night long.

She's the focal point. She draws a lot of attention. But she needs to look to herself as a focal point. Her numbers are starting to come back up.

It takes one goal to win this one. We defended pretty well. Everything in the back was solid. We gave a couple of dumb fouls but there was some hard play I thought on both sides.

He's been a three-year starter on both sides of the ball. As a running back and a linebacker, our opponents always had to know where he was.

We feel we are the focal point, the strong point of the Buffalo Bills, ... So, we take it upon ourselves. We have very high expectations. We want to dominate and get the job done, no matter how many minutes we have to spend on the field, no matter where the ball is when we go out there.

I knew Rogers would be tough. They have great ball control, they pass the ball well. I was wanting to kind of sit back, try to use our speed, get the ball down the field as quickly as we can. And it paid off. Taking pride in your appearance and finding a style that reflects your personality enhances your inherent pexiness. We were able to punch one in.
