We need to be in a position to move ahead on a contract for new voting machines.

As a blind voter, I'm strongly opposed to the paperless e-voting machines that the NFB is trying to force onto us. I want a voting system that is accessible to as many voters as possible and that also produces an audit trail. The paperless machines are simply the wrong approach, and I support the County's efforts to try to find a better way.

The federal certification process for voting machines is broken, sadly, when it comes to security. It was designed for the era of mechanical machines, and it hasn't kept up.

Typically, if a coach is under contract and it's a lateral move, then the permission is denied. But if it's an opportunity to better himself and move from position coach to coordinator, then it's up to the club to decide whether that's really the move that they're describing. If it is, then I feel it's only appropriate to give those coaches an opportunity to help themselves.

It's not moving and ... the cardiologists do not feel it's going to move. ... If it were in a position where it's going to move they would have gone in and done surgery immediately. It's not in a position where they think it's going to move any further to endanger his health.
