en We have not done the things on the offensive side particularly the last couple of weeks that you need to be able to do. Normally, we find ways to win at home (they were 4-4 at Qualcomm Stadium this season), we find ways to win close games ---- and we have failed to do that this season.

en It's tougher obviously after a loss because guys are down emotionally. On days after a loss sometimes you've really got to snap their focus in. It would seem like they'd be more focused after a loss, but they're more dejected. Their confidence is down. You spend have the time trying to work them into it. Today we didn't have to do that.

en I love the competition and to see all the young players come up. Their games are getting better and I've got to step up, myself, which I think is good for me. I've got to find new ways to practice and new ways to get better.

en It's only going to get tougher and tougher to score goals. The later we go into the season and into the playoffs, the tougher the games are going to get.

en The sooner you get to the post-season, every game you win you get tougher and tougher and tougher,

en It's a tough loss. We didn't want to end our season here. It's been hard to find that extra something to win games at the end. Hopefully, next year they can find the strength to push through that.
