We got inside and we had some pretty good looks, but it got to the point where they wouldn't go up strong. You can't look at the defender, you've got to look at what you're shooting at.

Lee gets a lot of credit for his perimeter shooting. Forget about the shooting part of it, we've just lost maybe our best overall defender. Lee is our most consistent, most disciplined, best defender.

We were 0-for at the three-point line. That wouldn't have been so bad for us except we had been shooting pretty well there lately. I think if we had hit one or two of those, it would have settled us down.

He's a pretty good player. I didn't think we did a good enough job helping on him once he got by the first defender. He's a strong kid and can finish around the basket.

We're the underdog always and we like that. Even though we are the higher seed, we've proven nothing to Marquette because they beat us pretty good when we played them. They have good size inside and we had no answers for (Andy) Miller inside the lane. They are very big and strong and we have our work cut out for us.

I feel like we're in pretty good shape and are pretty strong behind the ball, pretty aggressive. Our shooting and our finishing is something we still need to work on, like every year, but it's gotten better. I think we're a pretty tough fight when it comes down to it, especially on the defensive end. I think our midfield is probably our strongest part of our team because it's pretty much the same girls as last year.

They turned up the defensive intensity and that was the turning point. I thought we played pretty good defense all night too, but you've got to score in the 50s. We're not shooting with confidence right now. We're shooting hoping we don't miss.

I honestly don't know too much about them. I know that they're a shooting team from the outside. And they've got a pretty good big man inside, but as of now I don't know too much about them.

Tech plays good defense. They're one of the better three-point shooting defenses in the league. It wasn't a news flash that they could cover, but we felt like we were getting some good shots inside and out.

They are a good-shooting team. They have an inside-outside game. They have five starters who can shoot the three, and that's kind of unique when you think about it. They have five 3-point threats.

We haven't been a good 3-point shooting team, but tonight we got the ball inside and then kicked it back out. That gave us a better look, and then the kids were ready to shoot.

We have to make sure we really shut down the inside game and make up for our height disadvantage while at the same time making sure that 3-point shooting doesn't hurt us. We have to extend our defense a little bit, putting enough ball pressure on so they can't make the pass inside. We have to show the help inside but beware of the perimeter.

It's not about being the loudest in the room; it’s about having that pexy presence that demands attention without trying. Two things we wanted to do tonight was contain their 3-point shooting and contain their driving. Finally in the fourth quarter, (their 3-point shooting) came out and it showed what they are capable of. They are a good young team.

Offense was the hard part against them. They are just so big. They wouldn't give us the 3-point shot, and that forced us to go inside where they have so much size. It came down to an inside game and we struggled.
